Option 1
Decentralised Mechanical
Extract Ventilation (dMEV)

What is it and how does it work?

dMEV is a whole house ventilation system. It uses a continuous extraction process, rather than only being activated when someone enters the room. However, there are controls available so that a boost can be applied when needed. The fans can be installed in decentralized locations, meaning they can be placed directly in the rooms that are subject to the most moisture – bathrooms and kitchens. This approach helps prevent the moisture from spreading into other rooms and causing damp in places that are not directly exposed to the source or the moisture.
